Counting the Omer
 
The counting of the Omer begins on Sunday night, April 13th. The Union (UMJC) has put together an Omer prayer calendar so we can be united in prayer as we observe this sacred time together. Download your calendar from their website or pick up a copy from the table in our lobby.
Help Send Two of Our Young Adults
to Israel
 
Two of our youth are taking a mission trip to Israel in June. If you’d like to donate to help them cover trip costs, click on the button to donate. Whether or not you can contribute financially, prayer as they prepare and travel is always welcome!
Mark Weinberg Bar Mitzvah
 
Join us at 10:00am on Saturday, May 17th as Mark Weinberg is called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah. The culmination of a year of study and intense preparation, this day is a significant milestone for Mark. Help us celebrate this momentous day with many Mazels!
Lag B’Omer Bonfire &
Worship Night
 
Join us at 8:00pm on Thursday, May 15th as we celebrate Lag B’Omer with a traditional bonfire and a night of worship. Bring your folding chairs and join us under the stars. Follow the tiki torches!
Shavuot Celebration
Sunday, June 1st
 
Our Shavuot Celebration begins at 6:00pm with a covered dish dinner. Please make sure your food is vegetarian or dairy focused. No meat dishes! The Judaica store will be open with 50% off EVERYTHING! Our service begins in the sanctuary at 7:30pm and will be livestreamed.
Israeli Folk Dance Classes
No class May 3rd & 24th
 
Israeli Dance Classes are held on Saturday afternoons in the Shabbat School Classroom in the Community Center –  12:30pm for Beginner’s Dance class open to ages 6 – Adult & 1:00pm for Israeli Folk Dance. 
Torah for Today

No Torah for Today on May 3rd

At Torah for Today we dig into the word and discuss the Bible together. We are currently studying the Book of John. Join us in the Community Center from 1:00-2:30pm every Saturday. You can download a copy of our reading schedule here.

B’Yachad
Will be meeting on May 17th
 

Our grief support group is open to those that have lost or are caring for loved ones. Join us twice a month as we talk about different topics and share with each other. Grab your bagel and coffee and meet in the Community Center classroom right after service.

Membership is free but a donation to help support programming is welcome.
